Drivers on the panel
What a Phoenix HMI already talks to.
The controller stays where it is. The HMI speaks its protocol, so the swap is a screen and a program, not a panel redesign.
| Make or protocol | Driver |
|---|---|
| Allen-Bradley | DF1 serial; EtherNet/IP (PCCC); Logix 5000 series |
| Siemens | Profinet PLCs |
| Modbus | RTU master and slave; ASCII master; TCP master (client) |
| Delta | PLCs |
| Panasonic | FP series PLCs |
| Toshiba | Inverters; Link-port series PLCs |
| Anything with a serial port | Universal serial driver (ASCII) |
| IIoT | MQTT publish and subscribe, with three quality-of-service levels |
How to cross-reference
- By cutout. 4.3, 7, 10.1, 12.1 and 15 inch. Give Russ the panel cutout you have and he will tell you which bezel drops in, or have one made that does.
- By I/O count. Fixed and expandable PLCs to 16 modules; HMI/PLC units with the I/O on the back.
- By protocol. Serial, Ethernet, Modbus RTU and TCP, MQTT where the data has to leave the machine.
- By what changes in the program. Russ will say, before you order, what has to be rewritten and what does not.
